Memorial Day Message from UTD President Fedrick Ingram

Since 1868 we have celebrated Decoration Day, now called Memorial Day as a day to honor Americans who fought and died in the Civil War. Originally, this day was celebrated with townspeople decorating gravesites with an American Flag.

Bargaining Opens

UTD President Ingram’s purpose today was to begin bargaining with the end in mind. For the first time in years, UTD brought proposals on the first day of bargaining because according to Ingram, “We are looking to move bargaining forward in a serious way in order to reach resolution as quickly as possible.”
