Some progress made at Zone Bargaining

UTD returned to the bargaining table Friday (February 22) where only some progress was made on discussions as to the future of the Zone Improvement Zone schools. MDCPS responded to the UTD proposals presented at the February 15 bargaining session, but only reiterated their previous positions.

Some progress was made on Professional Development and defining Collaborative Planning. The district also included more staff members as eligible for the retention bonus (at least a prorated amount).

UTD hopes to make more progress at the upcoming bargaining session scheduled for Thursday, February 28.
