SSRI Funding Clarification
-
Although UTD
was initially told the funding was coming from a grant, future
monies are coming strictly through General Funds.
-
Approximately 50% of the money must be used for hiring more
teachers OR converting teaching positions to extra teaching
period supplements
-
The
remainder of the money can be used for text books and supplies
for the 2 extra classes they will offer, professional
development, hourly personnel and computers. Principals have a
form they must submit to the Budget Office (Ophelia San Pedro)
and to the SSR Office (Millie Fornell) for approval before
receiving these funds.
