District Teams Alert

Advise UTD Immediately.

UTD has become aware of District Teams circulating throughout Miami-Dade County Schools allegedly to “ensure a continuous review process of our schools to prevent a school from receiving an F or seeing their letter grade slip,” according to Superintendent Dr. Crew in a memo dated October 20, 2006.

Please notify your union building steward immediately should any District Team observe you while in the process of instructing your class with any details including:

-         the number of observants

-         their names (if known)

-         their conduct while in your classroom, etc

-         any follow-up documentation you receive as a result of their visit.

Be sure your steward gets that information to their UTD Organizer ASAP, especially any written documents you may receive so that it may be dealt with immediately.
