UTD Holds the Line on Health Insurance Premiums
The UTD Bargaining Team for health insurance met for a third time on December 17. According to Karen Aronowitz, President of UTD, “We were able to reach agreement with the district and we are pleased that we were able to resolve this before going on winter recess. I count this as a success since the district started health insurance bargaining asking for employees to again subsidize the district’s budget to the tune of $36 million and to share the cost of the POS.
