Rumor Control - M-DCPS Open Enrollment
There is a rumor going around schools that this is a changes only enrollment. The District is receiving calls from teachers saying they have been told that they do not need to enroll. This is a MANDATORY enrollment for insurance. Those who do not enroll as of March 9th will have current benefits terminated as of 3/31 and will automatically be enrolled in the ‘Employee Only Coverage Option in the OAP20 plan.
