Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Renewal/Changes for 2012
Employees that currently have a FSA should have received a mailing from FBMC at your home address. If you do nothing, your FSA deductions will continue throughout the 2012 Plan Year. If you would like to make changes, please complete the forms and fax or mail them no later than November 28, 2011. You can call the Customer Care Center at 1-800-342-8017 if you need assistance.
The 2012 Health Insurance Bargaining has not been completed. MDCPS has projected an increase of 19.1% for 2012. The UTD Bargaining Team is working hard to mitigate cost increases, but you may want to consider this when you determine the 2012 funding level of your FSA.
Employees without an FSA in 2011 will have the opportunity to add an FSA for 2012 during open enrollment (dates TBD).
