Internal UTD Standing Committees are open to all UTD members except where noted. Involvement in your union takes many forms. A committee or caucus is the perfect place to meet fellow union members who share your union interests! Committees/caucuses meet monthly as determined by the committee/caucus members.
UTD Caucuses are annually approved groups that must meet specific criteria and are focused on a specific issue(s).
Joint UTD/M-DCPS Task Forces are limited to a number of participants by our contract. UTD President selects interested UTD members annually to serve on the UTD/M-DCPS Task Forces. The UTD President seeks new and experienced members to serve.
UTD Standing Committee members are elected by the UTD council of Building Stewards.
