UTD HOUSING OPTIONS
If you, a fellow MDCPS employee, or a family member are experiencing similar issues with finding a new home, UTD may be able to help. UTD is developing housing options through community partnerships. Below you will find a myriad of rental properties where UTD can help move you up the waiting list. UTD is also working with partners regarding home ownership opportunities and more information will be provided in the near future.
The Housing Trust Group (HTG) offers a few brand new options that are now leasing. Some are age restricted for 55+, or 62+, and some are open for all ages.

Citi Bank's Portfolio Loan - The Homerun Program
This program allows for a 3% down payment on the properties with some amounts as low as a 1% down payment if you are utilizing down payment assistance (1% down from the buyer). One GIANT advantage is that this program comes with no mortgage insurance! Meaningfully lowering your monthly payment.
